The ingredients needed to cook Moldova-style Borscht:

  1. You need of Thinly sliced pork loin.
  2. Prepare of Carrots.
  3. You need of Beets.
  4. Prepare of Onions (minced).

  1. Use a large cheese grater to grate the carrot and beets. Cut the potato into cubes. If you don't have a cheese grater, julienne the carrot and beets..

  3. Add oil to a separate frying pan and stir-fry the pork until well-browned . Add the onions and stir-fry until brown. Add to the pot from Step 2..
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add the salt. This is where you decide how salty you want the borscht to be. It should be a little on the salty side. Feel free to add pepper if you like..
